Welcome to our church!

  Early in the 20th century, Finch Hill Corners was occupied by a tavern, a poorhouse, Finch Hill Baptist Church and a cemetery. The “Four Corners of Life” became nationally known when it appeared in an article of Ripley’s Believe It or Not!

Established in 1805 during the presidency of Thomas Jefferson, Finch Hill Baptist Church has been faithfully preaching and teaching the core values of Jesus Christ as Savior and the Bible as the Word of God.

After all these years,  our church still stands on the solid foundation of the truth’s of Scripture and the promises of Jesus Christ.

Master Potter, why do You labor all day,
Giving such effort to rough, worthless pieces of clay?
Why such feeling in Your hands? Why such care in every touch?
Why all the struggle? Your creation is nothing but dust.
And the Lord said;
I’m molding a masterpiece, a work of great beauty.
I’m molding a masterpiece; My labor’s not done.
A trophy, a treasure or worth beyond measure
I’m molding a masterpiece, a masterpiece of love.
                                                                                  “Molding a Masterpiece” by Ron Hamilton

We are the clay that the Potter is improving on each day.

Come grow with us.
